Legal

Privacy policy

We keep the data we collect to the minimum we need to run the store, and we describe here only what the site actually does.

This page is maintained by Oak Path Goods and describes our current privacy practices. It's written in plain language rather than legal jargon, and it isn't a substitute for legal advice.

What we collect

If you create an account, we collect and store your name, email address, and phone number. If you contact us through the form on this site or by email, we receive the information you choose to include in your message.

The items you add to your cart are stored locally in your own browser so your cart is still there when you come back. That information stays on your device.

How we use it

We use the information you give us to maintain your account and to respond to the questions and requests you send us. We don't use it for anything else.

We do not sell your personal information. Full stop.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

This site does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking technologies. The only data stored in your browser is what's needed for the site to work, such as your cart and, if you sign in, your session.

Service providers

We rely on service providers to operate this website, such as hosting and the systems that store account information. They only receive the information needed to provide those services.

We don't share your information with anyone for advertising or marketing purposes we haven't described here.

How long we keep data

Account information stays with us while your account is active. If you ask us to close it, we remove what we're not required to keep. Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct something that's wrong, or ask us to delete it. Some records may need to stay for legal or accounting reasons, and we'll tell you honestly if that applies.

Write to team@oakpathgoods.com and we will respond as soon as possible.

Children's privacy

This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us information, please let us know and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

When we update this policy, we'll publish the new version on this page. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we'll flag it clearly at the top so it doesn't slip past you.
